1. Linda Vista Skatepark

It deserves to be on the top because of its huge size covering 35,000 square feet of land. Designed by SITE Group & constructed by California Skatepark, Linda Vista is in the coolest structural form transitioning from streets to ledges rails, permitting you to do snake run, vert bowl & many more fun tricks.

Timing: 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM

2. Alex Road Skatepark

Alex Skatepark covering 23,700 square feet, features a street area with ledges, hubbas, snake run, three bowls & an A-frame. Also known as Prince Park, it is the most crowded one in San Diego. The Skatepark is designed by Grindline Skateparks & constructed by California Skateparks. It is for those who love early morning skating.

Timing: 5:00 AM to 8:00 PM

3. Lemon Grove Skatepark

It is also known as a mini skatepark because it is merely 3500 square feet in area. Though it is very tiny, it still has different obstacles to fascinate you. It has rails, ledges, stair sets, quarter pipes, etc.

4. Rancho Penasquitos Skatepark

This Skatepark of San Diego covers an area of about 23,00 square feet. It underwent various renovations to add on adventurous features, including grind box, hubbas, manual pad, etc. For specifically transition skaters, this skatepark offers a spine ramp with a transition hip, a bowl corner & the middle area of the park has a euro gap, a twelve-foot rail, etc.

5. Encinitas Skatepark

Also known as Poods, It covers about 33,000 square feet of area. This giant plaza offers all kinds of skating adventures such as countless ledges, manual pads, hubbas, stairs & even a backyard pool-style bowl. 

You can even see professionals performing amazing tricks here because this Skatepark is quite popular in San Diego among skateboarders for warm-up & practice lines.

6. Park De La Cruz Skatepark

This 19,000 square feet Skatepark in San Diego was designed by Kantel Russel & constructed by California Skateparks. However, it is a small-sized one compared to San Diego’s other Skateparks but still covers all the needed features. 

It features a flow bowl area with a spine, a backyard pool, two euro gaps in addition to various other Skatepark obstacles.

7. Robb Field Skatepark

This Skatepark is located in Ocean Beach, right beside the San Diego River bike path. This 40,000 square feet Skatepark is the first one constructed & operated by the city of San Diego. The unique design of the park is the contribution of top professionals, including Tony Hawk.

 It features its streets with ledges, handrails, an octagon bowl & many more.

8. Washington Street Skatepark

This Skatepark was started by local skateboarders of San Diego; that’s why it has imbibed numerous DIYs in its structure. You must be thinking, isn’t it illegal to establish something like this? 

Yes, these skateboarders had some conflicts with the city people trying to tear it down. But somehow they managed to raise awareness about their project & they won. This aesthetic skatepark is an output of their hard work, fundraising & other efforts.

9. Poway Skatepark

Designed by Wormhoudt Inc & constructed by California Skateparks, this skatepark covers 12,000 square feet of land. It has ample transitions, including snake run, reservoir section, bank ramps along with various skatepark obstacles. This park is best suited to those who don’t like crowded places. 

Timing: 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM

10. Carmel Valley Skatepark

This skatepark is spreading over 13,500 square feet of area. It has various urban elements like banks, stairs, railing & a specific challenge course. It is equipped with well-lit spaces to ease skateboarders to skate even after sunset. It has restrooms & observation areas as various tournaments are also being organized here.
